Xbox 360 | Superbike SBK 09 Hands-On

Two wheels and tons of speed; the motorcycle racing series is coming to America and we’ve got the latest look. The SBK Superbike series, which has seen a few iterations released in Europe, will finally make its European debut this year in the upcoming SBK Superbike World Championship 09. Representatives from the game’s publisher Valcon Games were on hand at the 2010 Game Developers Conference showing SBK off to the press.

Wii | Green Day: Rock Band tour kicks off June 8

Band-specific rhythm game gets simultaneous worldwide launch; North America-exclusive premium edition gets DLC voucher, free song export. In 2009, Green Day confirmed ( twice ) that there would be a stand-alone Rock Band game devoted to their music. After some confusion , it was confirmed in February of this year that the title would be distributed by EA sometime in 2010.

PC | Splinter Cell: Conviction Last Stand Mode Hands-On

We face off against endless waves of terrorists and learn a thing or two about stealth in Conviction’s new multiplayer mode. While we’ve already seen what the first 20 minutes of Sam Fisher’s latest adventure has to offer, publisher Ubisoft has kept many of the new multiplayer modes away from our grubby little mitts. One such mode is Last Stand, which is Conviction’s take on the endless-wave gameplay featured in Gears of War 2’s Horde mode and Halo: ODST’s Firefight mode.

PlayStation 3 | SOCOM 4 Hands-On

We grab the PlayStation Move and its sub-controller to shoot down soldiers in the slums level of Zipper Interactive’s upcoming action game. Sony’s PlayStation Move launch at GDC 2010 wasn’t all about family fun and mini-game compilations, with the surprise announcement that core gamers wouldn’t be ignored thanks to the inclusion of Move support to the recently announced SOCOM 4. We grabbed our Move and hunkered down behind enemy lines to see just how motion controls would be incorporated into this upcoming first person shooter.

PC | Monkey Island 2 SE takes LeChuck’s Revenge on consoles, PC this summer

LucasArts announces remake of Monkey Island 2 and the PlayStation Network version of The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition. SAN FRANCISCO–Last year, LucasArts gave Monkey Island fans a chance to relive fond memories of 1990s adventure gaming when it announced The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition on the PC and Xbox 360. With the 2010 Game Developers Conference well underway, LucasArts announced at an event tonight that The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition is coming to the PlayStation Network “in a few weeks.” More importantly, LucasArts also announced that Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck’s Revenge will be hitting Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC this summer
