In “Video Games: First Impressions,” you get to see me try out a new (or not so new) game for the very first time, going in cold, to give you my initial reactions. Expect many n00b moments. Expect major suckage in my complete and utter lack of skill with these games I’ve never played before. For this inaugural edition, I finally decide to give the latest installment of one of the longest running series’ in the survival horror genre a try – Resident Evil 5! After coming off Dead Space (which to me is, in many ways, the closest to PERFECTION a survival horror game has ever been), how does this chapter in the ongoing RE franchise stack up to the new guy in town? Is it fun? Is it scary? Are the controls intuitive? Let’s give it a whirl and find out… Resident Evil is copyright Capcom.
